Equipped with a magnetic badge, you set off for around fifty minutes behind the scenes of Europe’s largest cinema. The tour begins in the panoramic lift rising behind the giant screen, then takes you through the projection booth, the manager’s office and a real film set where you become the actor in a scene filmed live.

Special effects, sound effects and dubbing: each stage is explained in the language of your choice. The tour ends with a screening of your scene, which you can take away as a souvenir. Approximate duration: 50 minutes. Suitable for families and groups, from age 5.

The Escape Game

Your mission: save the cinema. Move from room to room through sets inspired by movie classics and solve the puzzles before time runs out.

Created with Team Break, the Grand Rex escape game takes you behind the scenes of a cinema in danger: a mysterious collector is threatening to make the greatest masterpieces of film disappear. You have 45 minutes to foil the plan, moving from room to room through sets inspired by the classics.

Puzzles, mechanisms and searches follow one another in areas normally closed to the public. From age 10, for teams of 2 to 7 players; a game master accompanies you throughout the adventure.

The Guided Tour

More than an hour in the legendary auditorium: its history, the starry sky, the Féerie des Eaux and Grand Large screen, up to the panoramic terrace when weather permits.

Accompanied by a guide, you enter the Grande Salle as it was on its opening night, 8 December 1932: its ocean-liner architecture, starry sky, balcony and 2,702 seats, the Grand Large screen descending from the ceiling, and the story of the Féerie des Eaux, created here in 1954.

The tour continues backstage, onto the stage and, weather permitting, to the panoramic rooftop terrace overlooking the Grands Boulevards. Available in French or English, by reservation, for individuals and groups.

The VIP Tour

Discover the Grand Rex in a small group: a private tour with your guide, spaces normally closed to the public, and a glass of champagne on the rooftop.

The VIP Tour is a private experience reserved for your group, opening spaces normally closed to the public: the projection booth and its 70 mm projectors, the dressing rooms, the area beneath the stage and the historic management office.

It ends with a glass of champagne on the roof of the building overlooking the Grands Boulevards. Available in French or English, by reservation only, for 2 to 12 people.
